In the financial sector, young entrepreneurs are leading technological innovation. A study conducted by McKinsey & Company with Brazilian farmers on rural credit shows that 52% of them seek less bureaucracy, and 49% want shorter deadlines for resource allocation. Given this reality, tokenization emerges as an alternative for rural producers, offering security and greater liquidity without the bureaucracy of traditional institutions.
“Tokenization allows for creating a channel that enables global investors to access rural credit in Brazil. Through this process, it is possible to export credit to global investors, providing producers with a more accessible and agile means of borrowing,” says Tiago Piassum, tokenization specialist and founder of the fintech Rivool Finance.
According to Piassum, tokenization could take the lead in the real asset market by 2030. The process has the potential to reach a value of $10 trillion, meeting the global demand. “Access to investments will become easier while transforming how assets are managed and traded,” Piassum concludes.
